West Virginia guard Daxter Miles Jr grabbed everyone’s attention yesterday when he told reporters that after tonight’s sweet sixteen match-up Kentucky was “gonna be 36-1.”Miles Jr. went on to say that the Wildcats “don’t play hard.” He also said that he thinks Kentucky should be nervous heading into their Sweet 16 match-up.
Well it seems the Wildcats used Miles’ quotes as fuel because they absolutely destroyed WVU 78-39. The game was basically over within the first five minutes as the Wildcats built an insurmountable lead early on.
Miles was held scoreless throughout the game and the internet roasted him for it.
