The Minnesota Timberwolves absolutely hate Draymond Green.

Sure, a lot of people hate Draymond Green, who is by far the most provocative player in the NBA today.

But the Timberwolves took it to the next level, hating Green so much that they instituted a team-wide ban on interviews with TNT’s Inside the NBA while Green was on the show during the Western Conference Finals.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that T-Wolves opted to boycott the show after Green’s harsh criticism of Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns.

“Edwards was surrounded by a tight-knit team, one with such strong chemistry that it decided as a group that no player would appear on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” postgame show after their victory in Game 4 in Dallas, team sources told The Athletic,” Charania wrote. “The decision was a sign of support for Gobert and Towns, who were the subject of derisive and seemingly personal criticism from panelist and Golden State forward Draymond Green.”

Green served as an analyst for TNT throughout the series. And he was particularly harsh on both Towns and Gobert.

“He’s just not answering the bell. And this is who KAT’s been in his career when the going gets tough, they say he goes the other way,” Green said of Towns following a difficult performance in Game 3.

He also criticized Gobert after Luka Doncic’s game-winning 3-pointer of the French big man in Game 2.

Green isn’t afraid to stir the pot. In fact, it’s hard to remember a time when he wasn’t stirring the pot. But some fans and a number of players believe that the Warriors forward takes things too far.

Does that mean Green is going to dial it back a bit? Of course not.

But it may mean that Inside the NBA needs to find a different new analyst.
