The NFL is back and fans are already annoyed with the refs.
On Thursday night, the NFL started the season with a primetime game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens.
Early in the game, the refs called three offensive formation penalties against the Ravens on their opening drive.
The Ravens were called for illegal formation three times on the first drive (twice for Ronnie Stanley) of the 2024 NFL season.

After the game, ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt ripped into the refs for stealing the show on opening night.
“Everybody’s excited that the NFL is back. And it’s an incredible game with two great teams.”
“I do think it’s reasonable to say that at some point, the ref show in this game was a bit, excessive.”
