Tiger Woods is back! In his first official round back after 301 day layoff Tiger shot a 3 under par 69 to put himself in contention at the Hero World challenge in the Bahamas on Thursday.
After today’s round, Tiger spoke to the media and even he was a little shocked at how well he played after being away from the game for so long.

“I hadn’t played in a while after some of the difficulties I’ve been though, to come out and score like I did. It was nice, it was fun to be a part of a scorecard again…I didn’t know what I could do, I’ve been playing golf, I’ve been playing a lot of holes at home but it’s a little different when you have to tee it up in a tournament. I had a lot of adrenaline going there I was hitting the ball a little longer than I normally do and I had to dial that back a bit and those are the internal struggles that haven’t been through as a player in awhile.
Of course, everyone had to make the same exact joke about Tiger shooting a 69 because everyone has the maturity of a school child.

Tiger shot a 69 today. Pretty sure he’d be happy with three more 69s through the weekend.
