After 19 years in the NBA Tim Duncan now has a lot of new free time on his hands and apparently he’s spending a chunk of it getting himself a GIANT new back tattoo.
The Big Fundamental was often referred to as being like a robot he was so workmanlike throughout his NBA career and now it appears he is taking that notion literally.
In an image shared by Elite Custom Tattoo, a tattoo parlor in Glendale, Arizona, we see that Duncan is getting his entire back inked up with gears and pistons in the shape of a yin-yang symbol with some sort of machine busting through at the shoulder.
Duncan, probably the least flashy Hall of Fame player of this generation, getting this GIANT tattoo just seems so out of character for him. Maybe there’s a whole other side to Duncan we didn’t even know about that we’ll get to learn about now that he’s retired.
