There is an argument to be made that Tim Tebow is the greatest quarterback in college football history. Dominic Ardezzone is not his brother.
However, the Florida-based signal-caller bears a striking resemblance to the dual-threat signal-caller who came before him when he gets loose in the open field.
The video specific video that serves as the basis for this article has been viewed more than one million times on social media. It created a lot of confusion about the Tebow family and how they are related to the high school football quarterback.
Tim Tebow was a high school football cheat code.
Although Tim Tebow was homeschooled all throughout his youth, Florida law allowed him to play sports with a local program. That ruling ultimately led him to Nease High School in Ponte Vedra Beach after one year at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound dual-threat quarterback immediately took over as the starter and finished his career with a record of 34-6 over three seasons. He passed for more than 9,000 yards and 95 touchdowns and ran for more than 3,000 yards and 62 touchdowns.
Opposing defenses did not know how to stop him. It took multiple defenders to bring him down because he would just run through them.
Tebow, a certified psychopath in the best sense of the word, famously played the majority of his junior season with a fractured fibula and never once complained or show signs of weakness. Nease won a state championship during his senior season.
Major recruiting sites rated Tim Tebow as a five-star prospect. Only future teammate Percy Harvin ranked ahead of him in his class.
Who is Dominic Ardezzone?
Despite what TikTok might suggest, Ardezzone is not related to the Tebow family. Tim is the youngest of five siblings with two brothers and two sisters: Robby, Peter, Katie and Christy.
Dominic Ardezzone plays quarterback at Fort Myers High School.
The rising senior is a three-year varsity starter who broke the school record with 407 passing yards and six touchdowns in one game. He threw for 1,900 yards as a junior.
Listed at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, Ardezzone runs a time of 4.80 seconds in the 40-yard dash with a max bench press of 265 pounds and a max squat of 345. Although he is smaller than Tebow on paper, he looked very similar to the former Heisman Trophy winner during his first scrimmage of the preseason— both in terms of his physique, his style of play, and his aura.

As of right now, Ardezzone has just one scholarship offer from the University of Connecticut. That list is going to grow if he can take the next step in his progression this fall.
The two dual-threat quarterbacks are not related.
One specific run from Ardezzone’s scrimmage went super viral on TikTok because of the caption. It labeled him as the brother of Tim Tebow, which created widespread confusion across social media.
How could Tim Tebow have a younger sibling who is in high school? He doesn’t!
The caption was intentionally misleading. It was being used to compare the two quarterbacks, not to label them as real-life siblings— even though it was taken literally because of how it was presented.
With that being said, the confusion only exists because that run from Dominic Ardezzone bears a striking resemblance to Tim Tebow in high school. All of the way down to the jersey number. I see it!
