Toledo played Buffalo in some midweek MACtion on Tuesday, taking down the Bulls 31-13. Fans certainly enjoyed themselves throughout the win, despite the freezing temperatures in northern Ohio which fell to the mid-20’s come gametime.

Those in attendance were spotted not only tossing snowballs onto the playing field, nearly costing the home team 15 yards, but also jumping in a dunk tank on the sidelines.

The action got started quickly with Toledo return man Jacquez Stuart taking the opening kick 97 yards for a score. The Rockets would go up 14-0 later in the first quarter on their way to a dominant first half.

The second half would be more of the same as Toledo increased its lead to 31-7 before Buffalo tacked on a touchdown in the final 15 seconds of the game.

With a blowout taking place on the field, fans in the stands found outside sources of entertainment.

That included throwing snowballs in the freezing conditions, which nearly landed a penalty from the officiating crew.

It’s certainly not unique to Toledo as we saw Colorado State penalized after fans did the same during last weekend’s game against Air Force.

In this instance, the flags wouldn’t come out, though a warning was given over the PA system. That didn’t stop the fun.

Those Toledo supporters were also seen bravely hopping in a dunk tank on the sidelines.

This is why we LOVE MACtion.
