Tom Brady insists that he will not be leaving the broadcasting booth anytime soon. Last month, The Athletic’s veteran media reporter, Richard Deitsch, predicted that Brady probably wouldn’t stay on television for much longer after the NFL legend joined the Raiders ownership team.

“I’ve previously said I’d put down big money that Brady will not finish his 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox, given all his various business interests away from broadcasting, including ownership. That remains true. The safer prediction would be that Brady walks away from his Fox deal after three or four years. But I’m going bold and saying Brady gets deeper involved with the Las Vegas Raiders in the offseason and decides to go all in with NFL ownership and his production company by the start of the next NFL season.”

On Wednesday, Colin Cowherd spoke with Brady and jokingly brought up the speculation about Brady’s future with Fox.

“It breaks my heart that we only got to work a year together and you’re already leaving,” Cowherd joked with Brady during their interview. “It’s really hard for me…I don’t know where you’re going, but you’re already leaving. Would you address that please?”

Brady immediately shot down all rumors about him leaving Fox while talking to Cowherd.

“I got nine years left on my deal and maybe longer, you never know. If Fox wants me, then I want to go. We’ll just keep going because it’s been really fun thus far.”

Last year, Brady reportedly signed a 10-year $375 million deal with Fox,, and it seems unlikely that he would walk away from that amount of money.
