When people say that former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is one of the greatest athletes ever, they’re usually not referring to him being one of the fastest, strongest or most explosive athletes ever. Rather, it’s about his technical skills and incredible mental and processing ability that helped him win a record seven Super Bowls.

But, even “unathletic” NFL players are still far more athletic than even the average adult athlete. Tom Brady proved that with a video that’s gone viral on Thursday.

Tom Brady is now 47 years old, which doesn’t seem possible since it was just two years when he was still considered one of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. While his athleticism had deteriorated a little bit by the end of his career, the way he took care of his body meant that he was unlikely to be one of those unfortunate professional athletes who are unable to move around very much soon after their playing days.

In fact, Tom Brady can still pretty easily dunk a basketball. Yes, he’s 6-foot-4, but most 6-foot-4 people at his age still are not doing this. Take a look.

He’s getting up there pretty easily, all things considered!

Tom Brady will make his move into the broadcast booth this NFL season, with his first game being the Week 1 Browns-Cowboys game. He will join play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt on FOX’s top broadcast team.
