It unfortunately appears that there is no one whom Tom Brady won’t shill for, at least based on his recent history. Whether it be Michael Rubin and his widely disliked sports merchandiser Fanatics, Saudi Arabia to put on a flag football game, or FIFA and its Dr. Evil-looking president Gianni Infantino.
While Tom Brady does have a vested business interest in the sport of soccer having invested in EFL club Birmingham City, his recent video promoting the upcoming FIFA World Cup came due to his relationship with Fox, for whom he broadcasts games.
“I think Gianni (Infantino) is a man of the people, and he’s always out there celebrating the great parts of the sport.”@TomBrady on FIFA President Gianni Infantino ⚽️ pic.twitter.com/mQWu8UcgGX

Tom Brady is getting ripped for claiming that FIFA President Gianni Infantino is a “man of the people”
The biggest criticism of Brady’s comments stems from him calling Infantino a “man of the people,” which is remarkably ironic given that the exorbitant prices for the World Cup have largely priced out regular people.
In my lifetime, I have never seen such a big disconnect between celebrities/those is power/wealthy individuals vs regular people.
Calling Infantino a man of the people is like pissing in my face and telling me it’s rain. https://t.co/9ndsDCYIrY

Nothing says “man of the people” like making the World Cup unaffordable for the people lol https://t.co/DMv0f8Mfbc

Beyond the World Cup ticket prices, Infantino was already far from being a “man of the people,” having been involved in controversies that range from human-rights abuses in 2022 World Cup host country Qatar — remember his infamous “Today I feel gay… I feel a migrant worker” comments” — governance and ethics questions, and commercial expansion vs. fan/player interests.
