Even though Tom Brady and Peyton Manning were AFC rivals for well over a decade, it’s actually Eli Manning that’s most closely linked with Tom Terrific.
As we all know, Eli Manning got the better of Tom Brady in two Super Bowls, one of which kept the Patriots from being the first 19-0 team in NFL history. Since, there’s always been a friendly rivalry between two guys who are known to keep it light off the field.
Licensed sports gear and memorabilia company Fanatics is planning a huge event in New York City in mid-August called Fanatics Fest which is going to bring a lot of the biggest names of sports together under one roof in a convention-like atmosphere.
Two of those stars are Tom Brady and Eli Manning, and as part of a promotion for the event, Brady signed some Eli Manning jerseys for Eli to also sign. But, on one of them, he left a pretty funny (and explicit) message. Naturally, the quick-witted Eli had a great response. Take a look.

That’s classic Eli. I know that Peyton gets all the media attention, but Eli has always been the funnier of the two, and he shows that on the ManningCast each Fall. As for Tom Brady, he plays the role well in their fake feud. He has seven Lombardi Trophies, but I’m sure he’d love to have won those two as well.
