Since retiring from the NFL, legendary quarterback Tom Brady has made it clear that he’ll take a check from almost anyone who’s willing to pay him, from Fox to Saudi Arabia. His deal with the Saudis, however, appears to be reaching a sad level of shamelessness.

In order to promote an exhibition flag football game that was set to be held in Saudi Arabia — but had to be relocated to Los Angeles due to Brady’s old pal Donald Trump helping Israel escalate war in the region — Tom Brady and fellow participant Logan Paul have been engaging in a WWE-style war of words to not-so-subtly promote the event.

The pair have been running the WWE playbook for over a month now since they sat down for an interview together during Super Bowl week.

“Yeah, you know what? I’m actually a little worried for you. You’re a good athlete, but these guys are on another level,” Brady warned Paul.

“No, no, no, no, no,” the former WWE United States Champion replied. “I am the highest level.”

“That’s cute. You know, I love WWE. It’s very cute. But honestly, this is like real football. This is just real competition,” Brady continued. “Well, let’s see if you can still bring it. I mean, look, we all had a great past, I won seven Super Bowls, who gives a s—. You know what matters? This game. I’m glad you’re going to be there and finally participate in a competition that matters.”

Sports fans are largely fed up with the fake beef between Tom Brady and Logan Paul to promote their Saudi-backed flag football game

The pair have continued their fake beef in the lead-up to the event, which will be held on Saturday March 21 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles at 4 p.m. EST.

“These guys slutting themselves out for this kind of s— is f—— embarrassing,” one football fan tweeted.

“The whole world has turned into a WWE script…” another added.

The Fanatics Flag Football Classic will consist of three teams in a round-robin tournament: Founders FFC captained by Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts and coached by Sean Payton, Wildcats FFC captained by Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow and coached by Kyle Shanahan, and Team USA Football, the reigning world champion U.S. men’s national flag football team.

Participating players include Brady, Jalen Hurts, Rob Gronkowski, DeVonta Smith, Ashton Jeanty, Alvin Kamara, Antoine Winfield Jr., Odell Beckham Jr., Terence Crawford (boxer), Jayden Daniels, Joe Burrow, iShowSpeed (influencer), Dewin James Jr., and Team USA flag football members QB Darrell “Housh” Doucette III and Aamir Brown.
