Chiefs legend Dante Hall believes Patrick Mahomes needs to get back to basics and stop trying to be so fancy all the time.
On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Las Vegas Raiders, and Mahomes seems to be struggling.
During the game, Mahomes threw his 14th interception of the season which is third most in the NFL.

During an appearance on Good Morning Football, Dante Hall said that Mahomes “needs to be checkdown Tom Brady” and “fall in love with the checkdown.”
“I think [Mahomes] needs to fall in love with the mundane. Yes, for 5 years we have been used to the big plays to Tyreek, to Kelce, all of that… It’s time to be Checkdown Tom Brady…Fall in love with the swing routes and the checkdowns”

Hall also advised Mahomes to stop yelling at his teammates on the sideline and become more of a positive force.
“Body language is everything,” “When you are screaming and yelling at your players, that permeates negatively. Get back to being positive.”
Seems like Hall is giving Mahomes some good advice, we’ll see if he takes it.
