Tom Brady gave Shedeur Sanders advice following his draft slide. Last month, Sanders saw himself slip out of the first round of the NFL draft and didn’t get drafted until round 5 by the Cleveland Browns.
At the time, Sanders did not seem happy with his draft slide.
“We all didn’t expect this, of course, but I feel like with God, anything is possible, everything is possible,” Sanders stated. “I don’t feel like this happened for no reason. All this is, of course, is fuel to the fire. And under no circumstances, we all know this shouldn’t have happened. But we understand we’re on to bigger and better things. Tomorrow’s the day, and we’re going to be happy regardless.”

On Tuesday, Brady appeared on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast and revealed his conversation with Sanders after the draft. According to Brady, he texted Shedeur to keep his head up and use the draft slide as motivation.
“Dude, whatever happens, wherever you go, day 2 matters more than the NFL Draft. I was 199. Who can speak on it better than me? Use it as motivation. You’re gonna get your chances. Go take advantage of it.”

Brady, who is part-owner of the Raiders, claims he was not involved in the team’s decision not to draft Sanders after receiving criticism from the media.
“I was not a part of any evaluation process…That’s the problem with media is that they can say whatever the F they want.”
