Even Travis Kelce seems to be aware of the fact that the Kansas City Chiefs seemed to be powered by some sort of mysterious power this year. Some NFL fans have even joked that voodoo energy has come from his relationship with pop star Taylor Swift.
During the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce acknowledged what many NFL fans have been saying all season, and that’s the Kansas City Chiefs getting away with footballing murder via some kind of black magic, or as Travis put it, “Tayvoodoo.”

The Chiefs, the two-time defending Super Bowl Champions, have an 11-1 record this season, with their only loss coming on the road to the Buffalo Bills. Nine of their 11 wins their season have been decided by a touchdown or less, and the Chiefs have now won 14 consecutive one-score games dating to last season.
“There’s some unknown like…” Jason said, trailing off, before Travis interjected, “Here you go with this f—— Tayvoodoo.”

If the Chiefs do win the championship this year, they’ll become the first team in the history of the National Football League to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
Thus far this season, the 35-year-old Travis Kelce — who signed a two-year, $34 million contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs in the offseason — has 75 catches for 637 yards and two touchdowns.
Taylor Swift has been in attendance at plenty of Kelce’s games this season and will certainly be at the Chiefs’ playoff games, too, as her long-running billion-dollar-grossing Eras Tour is set to conclude this weekend after launching in March 2023.
The Chiefs’ will close out their 2024 season with matchups against the Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans (on Christmas day), Pittsburgh Steelers, and Denver Broncos.
