Travis Kelce is most well known for his future Hall of Fame career as the star tight end and his relationship with music superstar Taylor Swift. But, soon his playing days will be over, and the tight end is looking to go into acting when his career is over.

He wouldn’t be the first football or sports star to make a successful crossover into acting. And, on Wednesday, a clip featuring his acting debut in FX’s show Grotesquerie was released to pretty solid reviews.

Kelce has been off to a slow start this year when compared to his lofty standards. Through three weeks, he had just 8 catches for 69 yards for the undefeated Chiefs. But, in the team’s win over the Chargers on Sunday, he got back on track, catching 7 balls for 89 yards.

A lot is going on his life, given his relationship with the world’s biggest pop culture star, his podcast, New Heights, with brother Jason, and his acting career getting underway. He’s set to star in the movie Loose Cannons, which is in preproduction, with a filming date unknown. He’s also set to make an appearance in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2 set to release next March.

Grotesquerie, from showrunner Ryan Murphy, is a horror comedy. Here’s a clip of Travis Kelce in the show.

People on Twitter seemed to love the acting job he did!

It seems like he has a promising acting career ahead of him.

In the meantime, Kelce and the Chiefs are getting ready for a Monday night tilt against the New Orleans Saints where he will try to build off the momentum he found in Week 4.
