While Travis Kelce was busy extending his scoreless streak to six games in 2024, catching four passes for 17 yards in the Chiefs’ win in San Francisco this past weekend, his girlfriend Taylor Swift was rocking out at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

On the plus side for Travis, at least several members of his family including his brother Jason (Who did not fall asleep, people!), Jason’s wife Kylie, two of their daughters, and his mom Donna were able to travel to Miami and watch Taylor Swift’s show.

Tuesday, on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce let his brother know exactly what he missed.

“Dude, it was, like, on another level,” Jason told Travis. “I texted you halfway through it like, ‘Dude, this rain, Tay is is killing it.'”

“Well, I had all the FOMO in the world with the entire family and a lot of our friends being there,” Travis Kelce admitted to his brother after hearing how “insane” and “incredible” the show was.

“I had a bunch of friends that were also down by the stage that had been to a few shows overseas and they were saying the same thing that you were saying, the Miami stadium was just on another level,” Travis continued, adding that Taylor Swift’s concerts are “the greatest show that’s ever been on stage.”

“Man, I wish I was there. I wish I was there,” he said.

Sadly, so do numerous Chiefs fans (and many fantasy football players) after yet another poor performance by Kansas City’s star tight end on Sunday.

Travis Kelce now has just 28 receptions for 245 yards and zero touchdowns after six games this season.

Earlier this month, an insider told Life & Style that Taylor Swift feels guilty about contributing to his poor showing this year.

“All the commentators are saying that he partied like a monster during offseason, and he’s only got himself to blame for being out of shape and out of form,” the insider said. “Taylor and Travis both insist it’s being blown out of proportion, but there’s no doubt Taylor feels a little guilty that it’s gotten to this point because it is true that he spent his offseason living the good life with her.”

As ESPN analyst Todd McShay said on the September 23 episode of The Ryen Russillo Podcast, “I want you to take a picture from preseason 2022 and then take a picture preseason 2024, they’re barely the same human being.”

The Life & Style insider added, “Even after training camp he was off his diet and partying with her and her friends because that’s what she wanted to do,” so now she “now making it her mission to help him shed the weight and get his six-pack back so that he can have all the haters eating their words.”

In the three weeks since the insider made those statements, the Chiefs have played two games and Travis Kelce has averaged 6.69 yards per reception. Nobody is eating their words yet.
