The ongoing feud between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals shows no signs of simmering down, even with the start of the NFL season still months away.

The latest development in this heated rivalry comes in the form of a response from Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce to Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s “Pat who?” comment, aimed at Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In response to Chase’s comment, Mahomes wasted no time in firing back during the Chiefs’ ring ceremony. He posted a picture on social media, proudly displaying his two championship rings, accompanied by the caption, “That’s who.”

During an episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce, along with his brother Jason, discussed Chase’s dig at Mahomes. Kelce expressed his opinion that it was quite audacious for Chase to take a shot at the league’s best player, particularly after Mahomes had just secured another Super Bowl victory.

“I thought it was a little bold,” remarked Travis Kelce. “The guy is a two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl MVP. To say, ‘Pat who’ is like…”

Jason Kelce interjected, finishing his brother’s sentence, and agreed that Chase’s comment was “a little disrespectful.”

Although Travis Kelce expressed his support for trash-talking in the NFL, he suggested that targeting Mahomes may not have been the wisest decision.

“It is what it is, dog. Who doesn’t love some good locker room banter, man?” Kelce said. “Shoutout to Ja’Marr Chase for holding it down for his QB, but don’t you ever disrespect Pat Mahomes, now. If you wanna talk your s—, talk your s—, pimp. You just better back it up.”

The rivalry between the Chiefs and the Bengals has intensified over the past two NFL postseasons. The teams met in the AFC Championship Game in both 2022 and 2023, with each side claiming a victory.

In 2022, the Bengals emerged triumphant by a margin of three points, while the Chiefs avenged their loss in 2023 with a three-point win of their own.

With the feud between the Chiefs and Bengals now involving prominent players like Travis Kelce, Ja’Marr Chase, and Patrick Mahomes, the anticipation for their future matchups is at an all-time high. F

ans will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting their next encounter on the field, hoping for not only a thrilling game but also a renewed exchange of words between these fierce competitors.
