Travis Kelce Avoids Taylor Swift’s Doghouse With Diplomatic Answer To Question About Their Love

Travis Kelce ain’t no dummy.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar is currently dating perhaps the most popular woman on the planet in Taylor Swift, and he’s not going to do anything that could screw that up.

Even if it means upsetting Chiefs play-by-play announcer Mitch Holthus.

Holthus moderated a panel discussion with several Chiefs players on Wednesday, including Kelce. At one point he expressed his love for each of the players on the stage. At which point, all of the players responded “we love you, too.”

It was incredibly wholesome.

Then Holthus asked, “do you love me more than Taylor.”

That’s when Kelce had to pull back on the reins a bit.

“Maybe not,” he responded with a laugh.

Holthus was clearly pushing some boundaries there and definitely joking. But Kelce passed the test with flying colors.

So, just how much does Kelce love Swift? Well according to Life and Style, the two consider themselves unofficially engaged.

“This is a lot further along than either Taylor or Travis would care to admit, since they’ve considered themselves unofficially engaged for a while and are both 100 percent committed to spending the rest of their lives together and starting a family,” a source recently told the outlet.

So, why not get engaged already?

Apparently, there are a couple of major hangups.

“The formalities are just their schedules that have gotten in the way,” the source stated. “As well as the logistics of a prenup. Which is obviously complicated by the vast amounts of money involved on both sides”

Surely that’s nothing that some lawyers can’t take care of over a long weekend. Say, Labor Day Weekend?

Could a Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift engagement come down the line sometime soon? We likely wouldn’t know either way. But it doesn’t seem too far-fetched given what we now know.
