On Monday, the Chicago Bulls waived guard Jaden Ivey for conduct detrimental to the team after he posted a series of videos on Instagram that included anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and criticism of the NBA’s promotion of Pride Month. Athletes from other sports such as the NFL have begun to chime in on the situation.
“The world proclaims LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month and the NBA does too. They say, ‘Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness,'” Jaden Ivey said in one stream.

Henderson’s position was blasted as being hypocritical, however, as his apparently stringent opinions on sinning did not surface when his teammate Stefon Diggs was accused of beating women.
“Glad TreVeyon Henderson is focusing on pride month instead of acknowledging the sins of Stefon Diggs beating the f— out of multiple women,” one viral tweet read.
