Troy Aikman Under Fire For Saying NFL Needs To ‘Take The Dresses Off’ Over Roughing The Passer Penalties

ESPN’s Troy Aikman may have gone a bit too far while blasting the NFL over the latest terrible rougher-the-passer penalty controversy.

On Sunday, the Falcons-Bucs game was ruined by a terrible roughing the passer penalty at the end of the game.

Refs called another controversial roughing the passer penalty during Monday night’s Chiefs-Raiders game that saved the Raiders from turning the ball over.

While ripping into the NFL over roughing the passer penalties, Aikman said he hoped the competition committee would “take the dresses off” and change the roughing the passer rule.

Some fans were offended by Aikman’s remarks.
