In a sentence that you may want to sit down before reading, WWE officials have reportedly been bragging of late that President Donald Trump and the White House as a whole used their guidance in response to the recent release of the Jeffrey Epstein Files.
If that sounds absolutely insane to you, you’re not alone! Wrestling Observer Network reports that WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque told people in the company that the White House used comments from a recent storyline involving Brock Lesnar’s return to the company as inspiration for their response to the Epstein situation.
Trump White House Reportedly Used WWE Script As Inspiration
Shortly after Lesnar made his surprise return to the company amid an ongoing sexual assault scandal, Heyman told Ariel Helwani: “Everyone has criticism in life. There are people that criticize Jesus. There are people that criticize Moses. There are people that criticize Muhammad. There are people that criticize God or Gods.”
Dave Meltzer, the longtime publisher of Wrestling Observer News, claims that Heyman’s quote was part of the inspiration for the Trump Administration’s response to criticism they have received for not releasing the full Epstein Files.
The decision not to release the entirety of the files has been met with significant backlash.
Trump’s ties to the WWE run deep. Not only did he perform for the company on several occasions, but he also has longstanding ties to the McMahon family. Trump and Vince McMahon have long been friends, while Linda McMahon currently serves as the United States Secretary of Education.
Additionally, Levesque currently serves on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, working directly with Trump andSecretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The Trump White House has not yet responded to claims that it used the WWE script as inspiration for how it handled the Epstein Files response.
