The Miami Dolphins have officially benched QB Tua Tagovailoa, and he’s not happy about it.

“I think Quinn gives this team the best chance to win,” McDaniel told reporters. “Ultimately, the team needs, and I’m looking for conviction in quarterback play. Understanding that he is a rookie, I felt that he would play the position the most convicted, which impacts every player on the field.”
Tagovailoa met with reporters after McDaniel’s comments and expressed that he was “disappointed” with the decision of his benching.
“Naturally, I’d say I’m disappointed. It’s normal human emotion but outside of that my role here right now is to help whoever the quarterback is gonna be for this team lead his team helping whatever way I can you know to help the team win when this game on Sunday”
