Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a resounding response to the skeptics who questioned his deep-passing ability.
Following his outstanding Week 1 performance against the Los Angeles Chargers, where he completed 28 of 45 passes for a staggering 466 yards, three touchdowns, and just one interception, Tagovailoa addressed reporters with unwavering confidence.
When asked if he believes anyone is still doubting his ability to throw deep, Tagovailoa responded, “I don’t care. I mean, I don’t care. 466. That’s what 466 is if I can’t throw it deep. Thanks.”

Tua’s performance earned him the title of AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week.
The Dolphins’ fortunes this season could hinge on Tagovailoa’s ability to remain injury-free and consistently deliver standout performances. If he can maintain this level of play, he may even become an MVP candidate and secure a place among the NFL’s elite.
Tagovailoa’s next test comes on Sunday night as the Dolphins face the New England Patriots on Week 2.
The spotlight will once again shine on him in prime time, offering another opportunity to prove his doubters wrong and solidify his status as one of the league’s top talents.
