Tyreek Hill is looking to bring a gold medal to the USA in flag football. The sport is one of many potentially being added to future Olympic Games, joining baseball, lacrosse, softball, cricket, and squash.
Cheetah is already trying to recruit his team.
“Calling all NFL guys,” he posted on his X (formerly Twitter) page in response to the Olympic announcement. “Let’s bring one home.”

Flag football has been a sport targeted by the Olympic Games for some time, and it could soon officially be a part of the 2028 event in Los Angeles.
The NFL is one of the major parties pushing for the inclusion as it looks to continue growing the game globally.
We already see games overseas in England, Ireland, and Germany. What better way to further expose the world to professional football than on sports’ biggest stage?
Fans have been quick to respond to the news.

Would there truly be another country that could compete given the immense talent we see each week in the NFL? Not likely. That might put an end to the “World Champions” debate once and for all.
As for Hill, individually, we already know his abilities on the gridiron, and he’s maybe more elusive in a flag football setting.

We’ll see if he can get a squad together and bring home that gold medal.
