Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is having a pretty eventful day.
On Sunday morning, Hill was arrested outside Dolphins stadium hours before the team’s first game of the season during a traffic stop.
The Miami Dolphins would announce that Hill would still play in the game despite the arrest.
“This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released. Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived to the stadium and will be available for today’s game.”
In the second half of the Jags-Dolphins game, Hill was able to pick up an amazing 80-yard touchdown and busted out a handcuff celebration, referencing his arrest from earlier in the day.
They’re baaaack: Tyreek Hill just caught an 80-yard TD from Tua Tagovailoa.
