Patrick Beverley has always been one of the most disliked players in the league, and yet he may have taken the disdain people have for him to another level with his antics during and after the Milwaukee Bucks’ Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Not only did Beverley lose his cool and throw a basketball at a group of fans (twice — first he hit a woman in the head and then he took aim again at a male fan) but he also lashed out at veteran ESPN producer Malinda Adams, who is, as it turns out, one of the most well-liked and respected people in the business.

Beverley is a 35-year-old man, who, as Russell Westbrook once famously put it, “Trick y’all, man, like he playing defense — he don’t guard nobody, man, he just running around, doing nothing.”

Pat Bev’s bad night didn’t end there, though, as Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton took to social media to clown on Beverley after he posted just 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists despite playing a team-high 40 minutes.

While Beverely, according to Adams, has apologized, it’s likely that the consequences of his actions won’t end there as he’ll surely receive a fine, suspension, or most likely, both from the NBA for endangering the safety of fans.

In the win over the Bucks, the 24-year-old Haliburton, who has been named to the All-Star game in each of the last two seasons, posted 17 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds.
