UFC CEO Dana White has jumped on the Miami Hurricanes bandwagon.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, White declared his fandom for the Hurricanes this season after his daughter enrolled in the school.
“I’m coming back here for the Notre Dame, Miami game,” White said. “So I’ll be there for that. I’m becoming a Miami fan now. I’m a Hurricane.”
White followed through with his promise and was spotted on the sidelines taking pictures with UM alums during the Hurricanes’ game against the Fighting Irish.
While on Mario Lopez and Steve Kim’s Three Knockdown Rule podcast, White was asked if he planned to donate to the team’s NIL fund.
“More than likely, the answer is yes!”
“I went to my first game, the Notre Dame game, and I met everybody. I think I’m getting positioned to get hit up for a (donation). I see the writing on the wall.”
“You know what’s funny is that I’m a huge Boston fan, the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, I’ve never been a fan of a college team, so this is my first college experience, and yeah, I’m really looking forward to it.
“And could have I come in at a better time? They’re ranked #2.”
