The infantilization of the federal government continues, particularly as far as the Kash Patel-led FBI is concerned, as the FBI Director recently announced that UFC fighters would travel to the FBI headquarters in Quantico to “train” some agents.
According to the FBI, the training sessions will be taking place at the FBI Special Academy in Quantico, Virginia, on Sunday, March 15 and Monday, March 16, and will see the UFC fighters provide the agents with “insight into their training methods as well as fighting techniques and tactics.”
Patel says that “academy students as well as senior FBI staff from around the world” will be partaking in the training program.

“I’m thrilled to announce this historic seminar between the FBI and the UFC at Quantico,” Patel said in a statement released today by the UFC.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for our FBI agents to learn and train with some of the greatest athletes on earth — helping the world’s premier law enforcement agency be even better prepared to protect the American people.”
As far as things like mental and physical dieting and exercise is concerned, then perhaps a few sessions with UFC fighters could be useful. But in terms of physicality or combat, it’s doubtful that FBI agents ever find themselves in conditions similar to the controlled environments of MMA octagons.
The announcement comes as the UFC prepares to host an event on the White House lawn this Summer, with the largely disappointing fight card being announced last week.
Patel seems to be using his role as FBI Director to live out some personal dreams, as he’s been spotted ringside at UFC events and over in Italy partying with the Team USA hockey team after the Winter Olympics, in addition to organizing this field trip with the UFC.
