Australian Casey O’Neill is fighting on this weekend’s UFC 286 and stunned at the weigh-ins.
O’Neill is returning from injury and is fighting Jennifer Maia, a fighter she personally asked to fight.
“I asked for this fight. I thought it would be a great fight for me,” O’Neill said.
“Before I got injured, I was going to fight Jessica Eye, who was a former title challenger who’d fought for the belt. I thought that was a good next step for me. So Jennifer Maia was a good opponent.”
On Friday, during the weigh-ins, O’Neill made weight for her fight vs Maia.
It’s clear to see why Casey is a fan favorite.
