UFC CEO Dana White was not a fan of the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight.
Last month, Paul got knocked out by the former heavyweight champion and made a ton of money in the process.
Despite the successful event that drew tens of millions of viewers, several critics believed the fight shouldn’t have happened, given the massive weight and experience gap between the two fighters.
Apparently, White is one of those people who thought the fight was too much of a mismatch.
During an interview with Complex, White blasted the organizers of the fight for allowing Paul to fight a fighter of Joshua’s caliber in the ring.
“It’s crazy that that fight was even allowed to happen,”
“I don’t know (what Paul’s future is),” White said. “As long as people want to pay to watch him fight, I guess he can keep doing it. It’s just not what I do. To even comment on it, I think everybody that was involved in that thing should be embarrassed, No. 1. And No. 2, it’s just not what I’m into. Not my thing.”

While White is probably right about his assessment of the Paul-Joshua fight, it’s clear that bizarre mega-fights like that are here to stay.
