UFC’s Sean Strickland Posts Full Video Of Him Beating Down Navy SEAL ‘This SEAL Earned My Respect’

UFC’s Sean Strickland has a newfound respect for at least one Navy SEAL.

Earlier this year, Strickland went on a rant blasting SEALs and challenged any of the them to train with him.

“I don’t think there’s one f—– Navy Seal who could survive a week training with me, I’m kind of sick of seeing it, cause you guys think you’re bad—, come train with me for a week, I’ll show you what’s up, I’ll f—– break you’

Former Navy SEAL turned MMA fighter Mitch Aguiar took Strickland up on his challenge and wanted to spar for 25 minutes with the former UFC champion.

While Aguiar had no illusions of beating Strickland, he earned the UFC’s fighter’s respect for not quitting.

“Challenge accepted and I lost… Mitch was a solid guy.. Actually one of the real ones….. Joe Rogan needs this man on his podcast…. he’s one of us.”

Aguiar posted a message on our Instagram account about his sparring session with Strickland.

“First off I appreciate everyone’s support. Secondly I think @stricklandmma original remarks/ post were not received or interpreted in the way he intended it to be. Ironically I was one of the few people who knew what he meant by it and agreed with him lol. There was no hostility between us and I knew what I was getting into being a pro fighter myself and also very much aware that there are levels to things and @stricklandmma is at the highest level and one of the best in the world. I knew it wasn’t exactly going to be fun for me lol but I figured it would at least be entertaining for people. Sean is a Patriot and has a ton of respect for service members and we share a ton of the same views and beliefs and I’ve always had a ton of respected for him as a fighter and his mindset. We talked about him coming over into the SEAL world and experiencing some of what we as SEALs have had to endure and wants me to put him through some BUDS style beatdowns. He is also not delusional and says he’s probably gonna quit because he’s a pussy when it comes to cold water and all that 😂 In the end, they are two different worlds and both require a ton of toughness and skills in their own ways. Sean and I both know that and I think it’s a cool way to show the reality of that and still be respectful towards each other. So everyone just calm down and enjoy and appreciate our suffering for your entertainment 🤣💯
