Things got heated between Florida and Tennessee on Saturday night.
With the game in hand, Florida was ready to take a knee but Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel called a timeout to force the Gators to run another play.
Florida calls timeout to set up victory formation. Tennessee calls its last timeout to force Florida to run one more play.
Then Mertz gets hit while taking a knee and a fight breaks out.

Florida QB Graham Mertz tried to to run out the clock on the next play and when he took a knee he was clobbered to the ground.
After the late hit, Gators offensive lineman confronted the Tennessee defenders over the hit and hell broke loose on the field.

It’s the clear the Volunteers were frustrated by getting upset by the Gators. Thankfully no one got hurt in the that mini-brawl at the end.
