The United States defeated Canada in hockey at the Olympics to win a gold medal for the first time in 46 years. An explicit hot mic (for lack of better term) revealed how Vincent Trocheck plans to celebrate.
He and his teammates are going to get very drunk.
Except the 32-year-old did not say drunk. The postgame party at the Olympics is going to be wild.

It did not take long for the United States to get on the board during the gold medal game. Matt Boldy chipped the puck to himself and split the defense for a great opening goal.
Boldy’s mother works as a bartender at the Catman Cafe in Mansfield, Massachussetts, which went absolutely bonkers when her son scored.

Canada tied the game near the end of the second period but Connor Hellebuyck did not allow them to score again. He made the save of a lifetime to keep the Canadians out of net in the third period.

Jack Hughes ultimately scored the game-winner for the United States in overtime. It is the third Olympic gold medal for Team USA in men’s ice hockey and the first since 1980— the Miracle on Ice.
Hughes had his two front teeth knocked out during the game but that did not stop him from delivering an electric postgame interview!

Team USA is not able to travel back to the northeast because of a historic snowstorm. It will instead get on a plane Sunday night and fly through Miami. The Elbo Room better get ready.
