Matthew Tkachuk, Brady Tkachuk, and J.T. Miller apparently planned to brawl their Canadian counterparts hours before their game. On Saturday night, the USA faced off against Canada in the NHL’s Four Nation face-off, and things got off to a hot start when three fights popped off in the opening seconds of the game.

After their 3-1 win vs Canada, the Tkachuk bros revealed that he planned the fights alongside JT Miller via group chat before the game.

“Yeah there was a little discussion during the day,” Brady said.

“Tell the truth,” Matthew quipped.

“Yeah there was a group chat going on today.”

Matthew went on to say they wanted to send a message to the world during the game.

“We had to send a message. The message we wanted to send is “‘It’s our time.’”
