San Antonio Spurs Forward Victor Wembanyama Showed Off Why He’s A Generational Talent

The NBA Summer League Debut for Victor Wembanyama Friday night was arguably the most-anticipated summer league debut in NBA history. The 7-foot-4 French prodgy didn’t have his best game that night, however.

Victor Wembanyama was just 2-13 from the field on Friday against the Charlotte Hornets, and fans clowned him, calling him a bust. Of course, that was ridiculous, but it still happened.

Yeah, about that. Victor Wembanyama was incredible on Sunday, scoring 27 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and blocking three shots as he led a furious comeback that fell just short, losing to the Scoot Henderson-less Blazers, 85-80.

Unlike his first outing, he was incredibly efficient from the field at 9-14, and was 2-4 from three. Take a look at some highlights.

That’s a bad dude.

Unlike Friday, Twitter was loving Victor Wembanyama.

The very large human will be back in action on Tuesday against the Washington Wizards.
