We now have footage of the Chennedy Carter incident in Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday night, several Chicago Sky players tweeted about an incident involving a man harassing Carter at the team hotel.

“Finding out our teams hotel to pull with a camera as we get off the bus and put it in my teammates face & HARASS her is NASTY WORK. this really is outta control and needs to STOP.” posted Angel Reese.

“WOW!!! Thank GOD for security. My teammate being harassed at our hotel is insane! Couldn’t even step off the bus!!!” said Isabelle Harrison.

The man in question released the video that shows him asking Carter if she had reached out to Caitlin Clark after shoving her to the ground before a security guard stepped in and put his hand in front of the camera.

Update: The video was deleted (you can see it here) after Sky players accused the man of editing it.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the man was not arrested and was escorted away by security.

The man — who is not a guest at the hotel — targeted guard Chennedy Carter specifically. When the team bus arrived, the man approached Carter and her teammates with a camera.

The Sky travel with multiple bodyguards who accompany players everywhere they go as part of the team’s increased security measures taken this year. General manager Jeff Pagliocca told the Sun-Times that the situation was immediately de-escalated and that police weren’t called to the hotel.

Sky security escorted the man away, and the hotel staff was made aware of the situation.
