The bizarre case of a United Airlines flight attendant getting Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis handcuffed and escorted from a flight in front of his family has taken yet another wild turn.

New footage has just been released by representatives of Terrell Davis showing him being taken off the plane in cuffs by law enforcement, which included FBI agents.

“This video confirms the harrowing tale of multiple law enforcement agents, including the FBI, boarding the plane and apprehending a shocked, terrified, humiliated, and compliant Mr. Davis in front of his wife, Tamiko, minor children, and more than one hundred passengers,” Davis’ attorney, Parker Stinar, said in a statement to TMZ.

In the video, passengers can be heard questioning why Davis was being cuffed and taken off the plane. Terrell Davis’ wife Tamiko Nash is also seen and heard speaking with the officers.

“The rationale behind the United Airlines employee’s deceitful or inaccurate report extends far beyond a mere ice request or innocent tap on the shoulder,” Stinar added.

Shortly after the incident, Terrell Davis took to social media to express his version of the incident, writing, “During the beverage service, my son politely requested a cup of ice. The flight attendant either didn’t hear or ignored his request and continued past our row. I calmly reached behind me and lightly tapped his arm to get his attention to again ask for a cup of ice for my son. His response and the events that followed should stun all of us.

“He shouted ‘don’t hit me’ and left the cart to hurriedly approach the front of the plane. I was confused, as were the passengers in front of me who witnessed the exchange. I thought nothing of it other than this particular employee was incredibly rude and blatantly wrong in his accusations of me hitting him. I did not see or interact with him further for the duration of the flight.”

Davis claims that after being taken off the plane and telling officers his side of the story they agreed that he should not have been detained and “profusely apologized” to him.

United Airlines would go on to issue a statement about the incident in which the company said, “This is clearly not the kind of travel experience we strive to provide, and we have reached out to Mr. Davis’s team to apologize. We have removed the flight attendant from duty while we closely review this matter.”

Davis and his wife Tamiko would later appear on Good Morning America to discuss what happened. The former NFL star claimed on the show that United Airlines had “not reached out to me to apologize. They have reached out to my attorney, but I have not heard from them directly. And so that, to me, is a problem.

“I have yet to hear anything from United Airlines,” Davis continued. “The traumatizing experience of my two sons, my daughter, and my wife watching me being placed in handcuffs – without due process or any explanation – cannot be undone.”
