It wasn’t so long ago that Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh was like money in the bank.
Then last year in the playoffs Walsh missed a chip shot field goal that would have won the game and he hasn’t been the same kicker since. (Of note: The Vikings were only IN the game because of his kicking, but people seemed to have forgotten that.)
Unfortunately for him, and Vikings fans, Walsh’s bad kicking has carried over to this year where he has already missed four field goals as well as four extra points, many of them badly.
So today the team finally said enough is enough and put Walsh, and the fans, out of their misery by cutting him and replacing him with Kai Forbath.
