Numerous former New England Patriots are quite salty about Tom Brady’s declaration that he’s not rooting for the Pats in Super Bowl LX, with former team stalwarts Asante Samuel and Vince Wilfork being among them. Wilwork, who says that Brady’s comments were “political”, spent 11 seasons with the Patriots.
After former Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel took to Twitter to fire off multiple tweets about Tom Brady, including one that basically threatened to ‘expose’ the legendary QB, former New England defensive tackle Vince Wilfork added his voice to the chorus of displeasure.
Speaking with Boston radio station WEEI on Thursday, Wilfork called Tom Brady’s stance “bullcrap” and claimed that it was a “political” response due to his position as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders
Former New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork hit out at Tom Brady for not rooting for the Patriots in the Super Bowl
“That’s bullcrap, Tom. All that political… this ain’t political. It ain’t political, what it is. Raiders ain’t in it. Say what it is, what you see. At the end of the day, if you’re a Patriot for life, you know what it is. Don’t give me that political bullcrap,” Wilfork said.

Wilfork’s response, while passionate, was certainly more tempered than that of Asante Samuel, who basically went on a Joker-like rant in which he gave Brady “23 hours to respond.”
If all of these former Patriots are going to go to bed on Super Bowl Sunday with the result they want, then the Pats are going to have to pull off a bit of an upset, as they head into the big game as 4.5-point underdogs against the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks.
