You may be big but Olivier Rioux is always going to be bigger. A Florida Gators fan who went viral for being jacked at March Madness learned that lesson earlier in the season.
He looked like a peanut compared to the towering redshirt freshman!
Now, to be fair to Larry (the large man with biceps as big as tree trunks), he would probably destroy Rioux in an arm wrestle because he has a lot more muscle. That did not prevent the college basketball phenom from towering over him when they stood side-by-side.
Who is the viral Florida basketball fan?
If I had a nickel for every time a Florida basketball fan went viral for having giant arms, I would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice. Riley Kugel’s father first went viral in early 2024.
He is not the same person who went viral during the First Round of March Madness on Friday. That would be Larry— who goes by Big Lar. Larry’s arms are even bigger than Kugel’s.

Based on my limited internet research, Larry is a bodybuilder. You probably knew that just by looking at him. His biceps were already 22 inches around in early 2020.
They just keep getting bigger.
His arms have seemingly doubled in size over the last six years. (Flip over to slide six!)
From what I understand, Larry typically hovers somewhere between 260 and 275 pounds. He is an absolute unit.
Olivier Rioux still makes him look small!
If you are not yet familiar with Rioux, he is the tallest player in college basketball right now and the tallest basketball player of all-time. Florida lists him on the roster at 7-foot-9, 305 pounds as a redshirt freshman.
The former three-star recruit was officially named as the world’s tallest teenage by the Guinness Book of World Records while he was in high school. He made his teammates look minuscule upon arrival to Gainesville, barely fit on the bench during his first game, didn’t need a ladder to cut down the nets after the Gators won the NCAA Tournament in 2025, became the tallest man in college basketball history to score points during a regulation game, and even tried out for the football team as a field goal blocker.

Larry, the viral Florida fan with massive arms, is not quite as tall as the 7-foot-9 center. They stood next to each other for a photo back in January. Rioux managed to make Larry — a very big guy — look small.
These guys are massive in their own right. Larry is way more swole than Olivier but Olivier stands no less than 18 inches taller. They are both absolute units. They both represent the Florida Gators.
