Over the course of 15 years in Major League Baseball, Vladimir Guerrero Sr. established himself as one of the greatest hitters of all-time. The MLB Hall of Famer spent time with the Montreal Expos, Angels, Rangers and Orioles before retiring from the game in 2011.

During that time period, he hit .318, batted-in 1,496 runs, and crushed 449 home runs. When Vlad Sr. got ahold of a baseball, it was gone forever.

These days, his son, Vlad Jr., is taking the league by storm. However, his father hasn’t stopped mashing taters.

Video out of the Dominican Republic shows that Vlad Sr. has still got it. At 47 years old, the eight-time Sliver Slugger Award recipient is still hitting moonshots.

And to make things even better, he is letting the pitcher hear about it. In a recent viral clip from an extremely lit softball game, Vlad Sr. gets ahold of a hanging pitch, puts his bat on the ball and launches it into the town over.

After ripping the home run, he proceeds to drop his bat, take a step back, stand at attention, put his arms behind his back and watch it fly. He pimped it.

There are very few swings in history as smooth as that of Vlad Sr. He used to give opposing pitchers nightmares at the thought of facing him.

Apparently, even though it isn’t quite on the same level, nothing has changed. Vlad Sr. is hitting moonshots and letting people know.
