It’s been quite the year for the Washington Capitals so far, as the team leads the Eastern Conference in points with 44, putting them atop the standings about one-third through the NHL season.
With so much to be thankful for, and part of their holiday tradition over the years, the Caps released a video that shows their holiday cheer—and it’s about as cringeworthy as you could imagine.

Doing a spoof video of A Christmas Story and turning it into A Capitals Story seemed like a good idea, but with no player appearing interested in actually doing it, the whole thing was an epic flop.
At least we’ll forever have that image of Alex Ovechkin wearing a pink bunny suit, so that’s at least a gift that will keep on giving for years and years.
