President Trump did not get a warm welcome in Washington, D.C.

On Sunday, Trump made an appearance at the Lions-Commanders game in Washington D.C. to take part in the NFL’s ‘Salute To Service” ceremony.

During halftime, Trump swore in new members of the military in the game, and fans could be heard booing the President during his speech.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Trump hopped into the booth to call a play with Fox Sports’ announcing team.

Trump’s appearance at the Commanders game comes days after ESPN reported that the President wants the new Commanders stadium named after him.

President Donald Trump wants the Washington Commanders to name their planned $3.7 billion stadium after him, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.

A senior White House source said there have been backchannel communications with a member of the Commanders’ ownership group, led by Josh Harris, to express Trump’s desire to have the domed stadium in the nation’s capital bear his name. The new stadium is being built on the old RFK Stadium site that served as the team’s home from 1961 to 1996.
