Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac headed back to the course for her latest YouTube video. And this time she tries to conquer what she calls her “worst hole ever.”

Apparently she still hasn’t gotten the call to fill in for Joey Chestnut at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest next month, but there’s still time.

While we all patiently wait for that to happen, Paige Spiranac takes us on what she calls “a fun challenge.”

“This part three is my nemesis hole,” Paige explains to start the video. “Every single time I’ve played here I have made a bogey.

“So I thought I would challenge myself to see how many times it would take me to make a birdie on this hole.

“It’s a really difficult par three because it is uphill and the green is quite firm and fast. And I don’t hit it high enough where I can, you know, just let it land softly and it stays there. It hits and it jumps and so this will be a quite the challenge today, especially because it’s windy and it’s downwind.

“Let’s see how many tries it takes me to make a birdie on this par three.”

Before you watch the video, do you have any guesses?

While you think about that, here’s Paige Spiranac’s latest effort on TikTok she described as “All of us during major weeks.”

So what do you think? Three tries? Five? Surely, not double digit attempts, right?

But first, Paige Spiranac shares a little tip (as she often does) on why she (and perhaps you) struggle on par threes such as this one.

“Most people don’t realize though when it is downwind that when it’s uphill you have to hit it high enough so the wind will actually take the golf ball,” Paige explained.

“If you have a lower ball flight like I do it doesn’t get high enough in the apex for it to take it with the wind. And so it ends up almost knocking the golf ball down. And so people come up short all the time when it’s downwind and they wonder why? And it’s because the ball’s not getting high enough for the wind to actually take it.”

Good stuff. Now see how many tries it takes her to birdie that par three. (Hint: after she did it, she was very relieved because, as she said, “I was worried. I thought I’d be here for hours.”
