Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had been engaged to his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, since October 2024. They have two children together and were supposed to get married last month in Lake Como, Italy.
Unfortunately, following joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas, the couple, who first began dating in the fall of 2023, announced that the wedding was off.
Following the wedding’s cancellation, numerous rumors began to spread about the reason why the couple broke up. According to one report, the relationship had been in trouble for months. Then there was a report that it had something to do with a prenuptial agreement. Another report claimed the breakup stemmed from Dak Prescott sending “inappropriate” messages to other women.
None of the rumors has been proven to be true. Still, it is a lot for any person, let alone someone with such a public profile as the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys to have to deal with. Which, in turn, has led to fans and members of the media wondering how Prescott has been coping.
Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer shared an update on Dak Prescott
Everyone received a sliver of an answer to that question this week when Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer addressed Prescott’s situation with the Dallas Morning News.
“Dak and I have had a ton of conversations,” Schottenheimer said at the NFL league meetings. “He’s in a really good spot, obviously with what he’s dealing with is incredibly tough. But if anyone can handle it, he can.”
Schottenheimer added, “I try to talk to all the guys. I reach out to most of them. I actually got a plan. I’m a little bit, a little I guess obsessive, compulsive in that regard in trying to reach out to position groups to check in. Some of them don’t really reach back out and that’s cool, too. I get it. Hey guys, I get it you’re on vacation.”
