There was a scary scene in today’s Western Michigan-Central Michigan after WMU receiver Carrington Thompson took a brutal hit to the head and needed help getting off the field after he collapsed when he tried to get up.
No penalty was called on the play as the hit was deemed to be legal.
Thompson luckily was able to walk to the locker room on his own accord but will be kept out for the rest of the game
