LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell is an absolute monster. The rising junior sent his teammates into a frenzy on Friday afternoon by putting up ridiculous weight on the squat rack.

EA Sports needs to update his strength rating ASAP!

Campbell, a former four-star recruit, was a First-Team All-SEC player last year after earning First-Team Freshman All-American honors in 2022. He started for the Tigers as a freshman and quickly became one of the top left tackles in all of college football.

At 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, Campbell came just 14 pounds short of squatting twice his bodyweight. Meek Mill was blaring out of the speakers while he made 616 pounds look like nothing. It was light work. It was easy!

To make the impressive feat even more so, Campbell hit the camera with a smile and a wink beforehand.

EA Sports needs to update its ratings ASAP! As of right now, Campbell is rated as a 96 overall. He is the second-highest rated player in the game behind Michigan cornerback Will Johnson.

That part is not the issue. Campbell should be rated as high as he is.

However, his “STRENGTH” is only a 94! There are other players with 95 or greater in that category. If a 616-pound squat doesn’t get Campbell a rating of 99 strength, I don’t know what will. A 97, at least!

LSU has high hopes for 2024 and its star offensive lineman is perhaps the biggest catalyst. It is hard not to gain positive yardage behind someone with superhuman lower body strength.

This year’s NFL Draft class is on the weaker side when it comes to skill positions. Last year’s class saw a record amount of quarterbacks go in the first round. As a result, there is going to be a need for big offensive linemen who can block for those signal-callers.

Will Campbell is in a great position to be a top-five pick, if not No. 1 overall!
