The WNBA playoffs are underway, but you wouldn’t know Caitlin Clark is participating if you weren’t tuned in.
On Sunday, Clark is set to make her WNBA playoff debut and will break attendance records by doing so.
This is crazy: It costs more to attend Caitlin Clark’s first playoff game on Sunday than it cost to attend EVERY 2023 WNBA Finals game COMBINED. (via @TickPick)

Despite being the face of the league, the WNBA failed to put Clark on their graphic promoting the playoffs on social media.

Angry fans bashed the WNBA for failing to promote Clark on their playoff graphic.
“The WNBA tries so hard to make it seem like Clark isn’t the reason for their surge in popularity.” commented one fan.
“It’s almost incredible how much the WNBA doesn’t want to promote the player who has put their league on the map. Impressive honestly” said another fan.
While it is unusual for the WNBA not to promote Clark, it doesn’t matter because she will continue crushing it in the ratings and will sell a ton of tickets anyway.
