To say WNBA fans like the Indiana Fever’s new Stranger Things uniforms would be an understatement. The team will wear them seven times during the rest of the season and based on the number of people on social media saying they want to buy one of the jerseys, it appears as if they are going to be a real money-maker.
Stranger Things, the popular Netflix series that will finally airing its last season later this year, is based in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana. So these new limited-edition uniforms are the perfect cross-promotion for both the show and the Fever.
The inspiration
The jersey “reimagines the Fever’s classic look with a dark, retro twist featuring eerie red and black hues, vintage Stranger Things font, Demogorgon claw accents, and ‘011’ on the waistband, referencing the series’ beloved character, Eleven,” the Fever explained on their website.
“This jersey represents the fierce spirit of our team and the fearless energy of Stranger Things – two forces that never back down. As we celebrate our team and the cultural phenomenon that is Stranger Things, we’re thrilled to bring back this awesome collaboration with Netflix,” said Amber Cox, Indiana Fever Chief Operating Officer and General Manager.
The Indiana Fever players were understandably very fired up to get their hands on these unique Stranger Things Rebel Collection uniforms. They will be wearing them on July 24 and 30, August 9, 12, 26, and 29, and September 9. The Fever wore similar Stranger Things uniforms back in 2021.

Season five of Stranger Things will be released in three parts beginning with Volume 1 on November 26. Volume 2 will be released on Christmas, while the finale will be a standalone release on New Year’s Eve.
